Highlights 2008

The 7th edition of the International Russian Retail Congress, "Retail Director" was held from Sept 4-6, 2008. Chaired by CEOs for Spar International, X5 Retail Group, Zara, 36,6 pharmacy chain, Evroset, Top-kniga, Ralf Ringer, Lenta, Finn Flare the congress brought together over 1000 senior level delegates from 14 countries in an open discussion of strategies for delivering growth within a dramatically changing market landscape.

Now it leads many to consider the Russian retail market as offering both international and domestic players uniquely strong opportunities in comparison to more traditional markets. The accompanying reputation of the Congress as a proven deal making environment has established it as THE industry platform in Russia and the former countries of the USSR.
